WOW! is Mommy really that old?

Here we are at Kaela and Liana's graduation from Sanford Creek Elementary School. It was awesome. There were laughs, tears (oh, mom... how EMBARASSING!), and of course lots of awards. Liana was chosen (out of the whole track 4!) to write and present a summary of her last year in elementary school. She was also asked to collaborate on and then present an end of the year "thank you" poem for Ms. Kelly, her teacher. She received an award for her outstanding contributations to the Sanford Creek Chorus through her "attendance, participatioin, singing, and dancing" She did a fabulous job with all these...of course. :-) And then there's Kaela. She did great, too! She received a medal and ribbon for her acceptance into the Duke TIP (Talent Identification Program), a Certificate of Appreciation for her help in the Media Center with cataloging and corraling the younger students :-), and the President's Education Awards Program certificate for "Outstanding Academic Excellence". It was an extraordinarily proud day for all of us! :-)
